Delivering independent advocacy because sometimes we all need an Angel by our side
Funds will help Angels to continue supporting vulnerable adults across Cumbria and Dumfriesshire who do not feel that their voice is being heard or acknowledged. As advocates we promote communication and support our clients to engage with authorities and other service organisations, acting as a trusted other during difficult issues for our clients.
We are looking to add to our board of trustees, particularly those with a background in business, social care or the legal sector. Trustee meetings are held remotely approximately 5 times a year.

£2 sends a letter to a client at the end of our time together which is a tangible reminder of how far they have come and what they have achieved.

£10 transports a client and their advocate to an important meeting because for most of our clients, public transport is anxiety inducing

£20 hires the room in which we hold peer advocacy sessions for survivors of domestic abuse

£50 pays our advocates' mobile bills for a month, meaning that we can stay in touch with clients, professionals and colleagues
