Making Classical Music Accessible for Every Child and Young Person

The East London School of Classical Music (ELSCM) is a registered charity dedicated to making high-quality classical music education accessible to children and young people who face financial, social, or cultural barriers to participation. Working across East London, North London and Wales, we provide affordable music tuition, music theory training, examination preparation and performance opportunities. We work particularly with children and young people from disadvantaged and underrepresented communities, helping them develop confidence, discipline, creativity and aspiration through music. Our programmes are delivered by a team of experienced music tutors and volunteers who are passionate about ensuring that every child has the opportunity to discover and develop their musical potential, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.
We welcome volunteers who can support fundraising events, concerts, administration, marketing, social media, community outreach, and event management. Volunteers play a vital role in helping us reach more young people and expand access to music education.
To donate, please complete the form below.
Donate £2
A £2 donation helps provide essential learning materials and music resources for a child, young student and/or adult
Donate £5
A £5 donation helps contribute towards music theory resources, sheet music and examination preparation materials.
Donate £10
A £10 donation helps support a student's participation in a music lesson or rehearsal session.
Donate £20
A £20 donation helps provide subsidised music tuition for a child/young person who may otherwise be unable to access music education.
Donate £50
A £50 donation helps support examination fees, performance opportunities and specialist tuition, enabling young musicians to progress and achieve recognised qualifications. Tip: If your fundraising campaign is linked to a specific need (such as bursaries, examination fees, instrument purchase, or your Grand Piano Project), tailoring the donation amounts to that specific outcome can often increase donations because supporters can clearly see the impact of their gift. 🎻
