A food pack is not a complicated thing. It is a box of the basics, delivered to the same door every month, to a family who would otherwise be choosing which meals to skip. Alamin Spiritual Centre has been doing exactly that in Bradford, and their page is now live on Help2Fund.

Who they are

Alamin Spiritual Centre is a registered charity in Bradford, number 1206713, working with orphans, widows and families in serious hardship. They provide monthly food packs, financial assistance, emergency relief and essential living support to people who have run out of other options.

Most of what they do is unglamorous and repetitive, which is rather the point. Hardship is not a one-off event for the families they support, so the help cannot be a one-off either.

What a donation does

£5 provides fresh food and daily necessities for a family. £10 supports an orphan or widow with essential living costs. £20 covers a full food parcel or emergency financial help when something goes wrong. £50 funds comprehensive monthly support for one family, covering food, essential supplies and emergency assistance.
